WALNUT GROVE DOWNTOWN IMPROVEMENT
CLIENT: TOWN OF WALNUT GROVE

Tice Engineering was hired by the Town of Walnut Grove to survey, design and oversee construction of sidewalk and community facility improvements in Downtown Walnut Grove. The survey was completed utilizing an aerial drone and conventional surveying methods. The design includes the rehabilitation of 280 LF of existing sidewalk, construction of 240 LF of new sidewalk, the construction of a splash pad and the construction of Corner Street Market that will serve as a farmers market and entertainment venue for local concerts. The project will improve the walkability of Downtown Walnut Grove and provide a sense of community with the addition of two new community spaces.
