I-110 BACK BAY MULTIBEAM SURVEY, HARRISON COUNTY
CLIENT: MISSISSIPPI DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

Tice Engineering was selected by Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT) to perform a multibeam hydrographic survey of Back Bay at the I-110 bridge crossing in Harrison County, MS. This survey was necessary to evaluate scour around the bridge pilings. The project utilized a Seabat T-50 mounted on an 18 ft vessel to obtain data in the shallow water environment. Project deliverables included a .XYZ point file and a DTM (Digital Terrain Model) of the ocean floor.
