SEWER REHABILITATION - PHASE I
CLIENT: TOWN OF WALNUT GROVE

Tice Engineering was hired by the Town of Walnut Grove to plan, design and oversee construction of improvements for the existing sewer system. Tice Engineering kicked-off the project with the development and approval of a sewer facilities plan. Once the facility plan was in place, the Town was awarded a State Revolving Loan and Tice Engineering began design of the improvements. Design included the rehabilitation of more than 6,500 linear feet of sewer line. The existing sewer lines were old and required frequent repairs. The project required frequent coordination between regulatory agencies, the Owner, and the contractor.

Preparation of a facilities plan, including public hearing and approval

Survey of existing infrastructure

Prepared design drawings for proposed improvements

MDOT right-of-way permitting

Bidding services for sewer system improvements

Construction administration

Construction inspection
